Nothing can draw a crowd better than those to whom God uses to facilitate divine healings - Sister Aimee Semple McPherson was one such person, and the attestation of divine healings number in the thousands and have been well documented.
Overcome by God's Holy Presence
- Centered, from the middle to the bottom, are 3 individuals, two ladies and one man lying on their backs. The man's arms are stretched out with head tilted back, so is the head of the lady lying next to him, as if in a state of still rapture - not flailing around or barking like an animal. The lady at the forefront had placed the palms of her hands firmly on her forehead; her mouth was partly open and appeared to be experiencing the outward flow of unknown tongues.
- The woman kneeling next to them, with a smile of calm delight, is Aimee McPherson.
- In the center, above them are three individuals lying on their backs, also on top of each other, as if some power knocked the 6 of them to the ground. Close to each other, in a state of rapture. Two of those individuals each have an army raised, with the third person on their back having their arms clasped as if in prayer, pleading, or giving thanks. A modesty blanket is seen partly covering them, signifying that this was not their first pony ride and that Aimee McPherson's team was prepared to cover them and allow them to bask in the Holy Spirit. In Aimee's own account, she recalls that upon first being baptized in the Holy Spirit, she lay in the Spirit for several hours.
